End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By Spring 2018, at least 85% of students will demonstrate growth in Reading in the areas of vocabulary and comprehension as measured by the Universal Screener.

Strategy 1

Through the CLT process, teachers will collaborate to develop intentional plans that target comprehension and vocabulary skills

Strategy 2

Teachers will provide small group targeted instruction during Guided Reading and Responsive Instruction to meet the needs of students

Strategy 3

All staff will implement the Positivity Project daily during Morning Meeting for the length of the school year

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By Spring of 2018, 80% of students will demonstrate growth in Number & Operations and Algebra & Algebraic Thinking in mathematics as measured by the Universal Screener

Strategy 1

Through the CLT process, teachers will collaborate to develop instructional strategies to support mathematical thinking, computation and learning

Strategy 2

All staff will implement the Positivity Project daily during Morning Meeting for the length of the school year

End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By Spring of 2018, 82% of fifth grade studetns will demonstrate mastery of the science curriculum as measured by the Spring SOL.

Strategy 1

Through the CLT process, teachers will develop lesson plans utilizing the science kits to ensure students are participating in hands-on science lessons
